For this project, we had to record our screens on our computers and show a specific website or program. I decided to show a little bit of the National Association of Social Worker's website. On the site, you can find plenty of helpful advice and policies to improve your practice. For fellow students like me, there is plenty to read up on and familiarize yourself with! Although I am not an education major, it is still useful to know how to display and record my computer's screen.
POWTOON
In this assignment, I inform you on a few facts about bullying in our country. As a future social worker, who possibly wants to work with kids, I wanted to do a simple presentation that they could understand and relate to. The facts I included were provided by DoSomething.org, a platform to inspire young people to create change in their communities. I wanted the project to be lighthearted but impactful, including some surprising statistics. In the future, I could create more Powtoons to get younger people to understand even more serious issues.
